Bikers
Meeting in Sumiswald (Ch)!
I took part
this week-end, the 23rd and 24th of July, to the biggest
Bikers Meeting of Europe, in Sumiswald (Switzerland) to make a Freestyle Show
with my friend, Marco Bleiker. Week-end 100% Harley & Hard rock attitude
including exhibitions, concerts, shows… !!! This event counts usually 30 to
40 000 people during the WE, unfortunately the bad weather was present
this year. We tried to ride in spite of the rainy weather, but it was very
dangerous because the ground and the ramps were very slippery. So the FMX shows
were cancelled. What a pity ! because the public was all the same present… We
made a small “flat” show when the rain stopped, just for the fun and atmosphere
!!

Zurich Fest 2010 !!!.... an Dad of a
little boy Tim !!!!!
This Week-end of 2nd, 3rd
et 4 th of July was very eventful ! It was the new edition of the “Zurich
Festival”, which takes place every 3 years because it’s a huge event and all
the traffic is forbidden in the town center ! 2 Millions of people on the WE !!! My brother
Alain, our friend Marco Bleiker (CH) and me spent a great time to ride, with a
large and overexcited public and with a very very hot weather. Our mobile landing ramp was installed on one of
the most beautiful street of Zurich, and we ensured a crazy show at the level
of the festival.
During the first night of the event, my wife
Elodie called me by phone because she had to go to the hospital to give birth
to our 2nd baby ! So I took the car and I went fast to Mulhouse
and…the little boy Tim Burcklen came into the world the 03rd of July
2010 at 07 o’clock in the morning !! He is well and weights 3kg 440 for 49cm.
After this crazy night without sleeping, I came
back to Zurich to ensure my FMX shows, and all happened very good !

International
Trucker, Bike & Country Festival Interlaken 2010 (Switzerland)
The huge
« Trucker & Country » Festival took place this WE (25 to 27th
of June, 2010) in Interlaken (CH).
1 400
Trucks, more than 20 000 bikes exhibited and more than 130 000 people
during the week-end !!!
There was a
big event including rock concerts, country, many shows and FMX of course ! I
was still invited at this event sponsorised by Suzuki Switzerland, with my
brother Alain. We rode some good FMX shows with our friend Marco Bleiker (CH),
and the atmosphere was overexcited with a crazy public !
Moreover, a
beautiful weather was there all the WE and the atmosphere was very cool. It was
a great event !
Next
meeting : the 2nd to 4th of July 2010 for the biggest
Swiss event, which takes place one time per 3 years : Zurich Fest. The capital
will be paralyzed all the WE for many shows and exhibitions.
The
« On-Off Freestyle » Team will be there with its mobile landing ramp
on a beautiful avenue of the town to make 3 days of FMX shows.

Flight
Club Tour Wissen
I took part
at the Flight Club Tour in Wissen (Germany) the 22nd of May, with my
bro Alain and about twenty other FMX riders including the members of the local
team 3Evil4. The concept of this contest is to give a note at all riders after
their run of 2 minutes. I finally took the 3rd place of the FMX
contest. The atmosphere on the show and between the riders was very cool and
the night finished in big party !!!

On-Off Freestyle
Show Osenbach 2009 !
This Saturday August 22nd, the
On-Off Freestyle Show took place
on my practice park in Osenbach. For the 30 years of the Moto-club, a big FMX Show was organized, with MX races,
pyrotechnic fire, rock concert and the usually summer fire… The riders present
were JP Aubin (F), Marco Bleiker (CH), Cédric (CH), Thorsten
Schuster (D), my Brother Alain and me. We ensured a great show
with crazy tchu-tchus, lots of flips and big tricks !!! The atmosphere was
terrible, the public was overexcited and all the riders too !! The show was
exceptional for the biggest pleasure of the public… Monster Energy was there to promote their
drink, which was very appreciated ! The night finished near the summer
fire in big party…!

Trucker &
Country Festival
I took part this week-end at the
Trucker & Country Festival in Interlaken (Switzerland), which was a huge
event with trucks exhibition, bike meeting, country music concert, Stunt show
made by the excellent Chris Pfeiffer (D) and freestyle show of course. I rode
with Marco Bleiker and Lukas Weiss from MStyle team (CH), and with William Van den Putte (B). We
ensured the show by making big tricks and crazy tchu-tchu for the biggest
pleasure of the public ! The cow-boys were overexcited
!!
Next meeting the 18th of July in Osenbach on my
practice park for the On-Off
Games, with FMX show, MX races, pom-pom girls, cabaret dancers,
summer fire…

Moto Quad Show
Festival !
To begin the new FMX season, I went
this week-end, the 07th and 08th of March, with my mobile landing ramp in Tours (France)
for the Moto Quad Show Festival,
1st tattoos festival with rock concert, moto and quad
meeting, supermotard indoor, FMX…
After my operation of the wrist in
December 2008, I couldn’t take part of the show as rider but I had to bring my
material, install it and keep it clean and safe for the riders. The 2 riders
presents, Jérémy Rouanet and Bianconcini, ensured a good show with big tricks
!!! The atmosphere was crazy ! For me, I had to accept an important technical challenge on this
event, because I had to ensure the complete tidying up of the FMX area in a record time to make room for the
supermotard run !!! And the challenge was a success
!!
Now I want to practice FMX again
when the weather will be good… so, see you soon for other news

She is there !!! Alison Burcklen
came into the world the 08th of October 2008. She weights 3kg200 for
48cm. Her parents are very happy and all the family is
well.

Just a few word to say you that my wife Elodie is
pregnant of 8 months and she is expecting our first baby ! The delivery is
planned for October the 11th…

Big FMX Night
Show in Arras !
This Saturday, September the 13th, I went
in Arras (North of France) with my mobile landing ramp for an FMX show with my
brother Alain, JP Aubin (F), Jérémy Rouanet (F) and a Quad rider, Willy
Mauvais. This event took place on the Big
Area (“Grand’ place”) in Arras
near the place where there was the 4th
Quad International Endurance. In spite of the bad and rainy weather, we made the
show after having dried the run-up area and the ramps with strong blowtorch,
which I possess. For this occasion, I have equipped my bike and my landing ramp
with pyrotechnics, the public was wild
! We finished the night show with crazy tricks !! Everybody was overexcited and
the atmosphere was terrible ! Big thanks to the speaker Magnanou to have motivated
the public and to Arras Quad Organisation for their top organization !

FMX Show
Strasbourg
This Sunday 31st of August, I went
to Pfettisheim (10km from Strasbourg) for an FMX Show with my brother
Alain and Vivian Gantner, which has won the final of the Switzerland FMX
Championship one day before ! After many shows during the afternoon, we finished
by an FMX night show with pyrotechnic effects
and fire !!! The public was very excited and the atmosphere was crazy
! For this occasion, I have equipped my mobile landing ramp with a strong lighting
and with pyrotechnics for the night show. In a word, we made a very
good show with crazy tricks and the public was won over by this event ! I really
enjoyed to ride and to make known the FMX in my
region…
Next FMX meeting with the On-Off
team the 13/09 in Arras(France) for the
4th Quad International Endurance.

Mega
Show !!!! The Beyond Gravity 2008 in Silz (Austria) !!
I took part at this event for the
8th consecutive year, a record ! This event, which is one of my
favourite, gathered parascending, paragliding and of course FMX. I rode with
William Van den Putte (B), Sven Schmid(D),
Daniel Liska (CH), Mario Gut (CH) and Vivian Gantner (CH). Everybody made a very
good show ! Unfortunately, the show of Friday
was cancelled because it was raining, but it took place on Saturday with a crazy
atmosphere as usually !!! For my results : I won the
2nd place in the Whip contest and the 2nd place in the
Best Trick contest. Good results after my convalescence…J! Finally, all the riders made lots of
crazy tchu-tchu, pyro-flips (see video), burn-outs, stunts, etc… The FMX show
finished very well with an overexcited public ! Well, It was very fun and I
really enjoyed to ride at the Beyond Gravity !
Next meeting : the 31st
of August near Strasbourg (France)
for an FMX show with the “on-off freestyle”
structure.

Finally back on 2
wheels !!
I went this Sunday, the 03rd of
August, in Valuéjols (France) to take part of an FMX event with my mobile
landing ramp. After the installation of the complete « On-Off Freestyle » FMX
area and the Vans stand for the
autograph session, the show began ! It was my first show as rider since my
injuries of December 07, and all worked in very good conditions! I rode with my
brother Alain and we ensured a very good show with big tricks ! The people,
which discovered the FMX for the first time, couldn’t believe their eyes !!!
Thanks to them for their warm welcome and for the great
atmosphere.
Next meeting at the Beyond Gravity
2008 in Silz
(Austria) in the middle of
August.
